Congratulations! You've made a life-changing decision!

Congratulations! You’ve made an excellent decision that will help stop overeating for good! I’m your coach, Jacque McShane and I want to tell you what to expect and give you some tips to ensure success.

There is an email on it’s way to your in box right now that will include your session dates and the zoom link and password to join each session. 

I recommend that once you receive that email you go right to your calendar and add those dates and paste the zoom link into the time block, along with the password, so that you have it handy for each session. 

Not an electronic kind of girl! No worries. Be sure to save the email for easy reference prior to each session. 

Either way, don’t worry, you’ll be getting reminder emails as well because I know life gets crazy and we forget.

Now, you may also get a welcome email that gives you a login to the Kajabi membership site, you won’t be needing that so you can just discard that email. 

Again, you’ve made a life changing decision to join us so I want you to treat these sessions as appointments with yourself. Promise yourself right now that you will show up unless there is blood, flood, or fire! 

Now, just in case there is an emergency, the sessions will be recorded but you’ll get the most out of our time together by showing up live.

I also want to encourage you to be in a quiet, distraction free environment for each session and have your camera on. This is a no judgement zone! Come as you are but show us your beautiful face. 

Being in a distraction free zone allows you to focus on how to stop overeating and it also allows everyone else to focus as well and there’s something about being on camera that keeps us more focused rather than doing the dishes or scrolling through instagram! It also creates a sense of connection with your classmates.

Show up and be willing to be coached. There will be opportunities to be coached during each session and obviously when you are the one being coached you’re getting very individualized help but when you really pay attention when your classmates are being coached you’ll likely be able to see how what they are being coached on can be applied to your journey as well. Sometimes it’s actually more valuable because you’re looking at it from the outside and you’re not all caught up in your own head!

Your homework for session one is to spend some time writing down where you are now with your health, like all of the details! How much do you weigh, what size clothes do you wear, any medical conditions that are affected by your weight. I want you to dig deep and describe how you are thinking and feeling now. 

Then I want you to write about where you want to be as a person who no longer overeats. What is your goal weight, what type of clothes do you wear, how do you show up as a mom, friend, spouse, girlfriend. How do you imagine you’ll be thinking and feeling when you’ve solved this problem for good?

Having this thought out and on paper is going to help you to get more out of our first session.
