Episode #4: Fatburn

When the going gets tough......I just want to eat peanut butter and veg. If this pandemic had hit a few years ago, I'm pretty certain that's exactly how I would have handled it. Instead I chose to go ALL IN with my health and my business in April. It wasn't always easy and it wasn't perfect but I'm confident that by fueling my body in a way that creates energy and mental clarity I am better able to manage my emotions. Good nutrition and self care is the foundation for how I SHOW UP in this world. How are you showing up?

I absolutely love how communities are coming together to offer meals and support to those serving on the front lines of the pandemic. Resisting free food can be H.A.R.D! I mean it's FREE and it's there and you don't want to be rude! But is it really free? What is it coming you in terms of your health, energy, and mental clarity?

Episode #2: Why you're gaining the pandemic pudge.

These are uncertain times and that evokes a lot of scary emotions or feelings that we don't want to deal with. It seems easier to drown out the fear and discomfort of negative emotions with food or alcohol. Food and alcohol are socially acceptable, right! The bad news is that those emotions will be waiting for you at the end of the binge or bottom of the bottle. The good news is that you can break the cycle of defeat!

Episode #1: Why this feels like an emergency.

It's your brains job to protect you from danger. The problem is that our brain doesn't distinguish between the imminent threat of being attacked by a tiger and the perceived threat of homeschooling or running out of toilet paper! We may not have control over the circumstances but the good news is that we can control how we think about them!
